FM4224 - 24-Port 10-Gigabit Ethernet Multi-Layer Switch/Router Chip
The FM4224 fully-integrated single-chip wire-speed 10-Gigabit Ethernet multi-layer switch/router chip leads the market in low-latency deep inspection, switching, and intelligent routing, delivering cut-through latency as low as 300ns. With its rich congestion management capabilities, and the ubiquity of Ethernet, the FM4224 is the key ingredient for enabling convergence within the datacenter onto a single, cost-efficient and scalable fabric. The FM4224 has 24 interfaces that can independently function in 10G XAUI, or 10/100/1000/2500 SGMII modes.
Fulcrum offers integrated reference designs for the FM4224 that help accelerate the evaluation and design of systems based on the device.
