FM2112 - 24-Port Multi-Speed Ethernet Switch Chip

The FM2112 fully-integrated single-chip wire-speed 10G Ethernet switch chip offers the same level of high performance and low latency as the FM2224, but with a mix of ports optimized for 1G and 2.5G operation. The device leads the market in low-latency intelligent switching, delivering cut-through latency as low as 200ns. With its robust layer-2 switching capabilities and the ubiquity of Ethernet, the FM2112 fits comfortably in a number of existing and emerging applications. And, with the unprecedented level of integration, it removes the cost barrier for rapid and far-reaching 10G Ethernet deployment. The FM2112 has 16 interfaces that can independently function in 2.5G and 10/100/1000 modes and 8 that can also function in 10G mode.
