ControlPoint Software Suite
ControlPoint Software Suite is a family of Ethernet bridging, switching, and routing software modules that are integrated into a flexible and extensible Linux framework, enabling equipment providers to rapidly deliver switch and router solutions based on Fulcrum's FocalPoint family of Ethernet switch chips.

ControlPoint Software Suite is composed of three software bundles, including:
Dynamic Stacks
- Unified Networking Software (UNS), a fully-integrated L2/L3 software suite from the leading provider of commercial routing software -- NextHop Technologies
- Fulcrum software extensions which expose unique chip capabilities for a variety of vertical applications, such as topology solvers for datacenter scaling, and congestion management extensions for backplane applications in telecom systems
Software Development Kit (SDK)
- TestPoint, Fulcrum's proprietary configuration scripting tool for automating production test and static configuration of FocalPoint devices in embedded applications
- Intelligent API, which provides a sophisticated abstraction layer for interfacing to the NextHop software and other applications, and provides a consistent view of all FocalPoint devices -- regardless of port configuration and supported features
- Drivers for specific FocalPoint devices and other related devices -- such as 10G Ethernet Phy devices available from Fulcrum partners
Development Environment (Tools)
- ViewPoint, Fulcrum's graphical, web-based FocalPoint register viewer which enables simple and intuitive viewing of chip status during software development, testing, and debug
- Embedded Linux Development Kit (ELDK) for open Linux 2.6 kernel
- Related compiler, debugger development environment
- uBoot software for various versions of the PowerPC architecture, which can be used as the basis for customer-developed system boot code
