    BLADE flicks ultra-low-power switch

    A blog by Chris Preimesberger in eWeek on BLADE’s new G8124 24-port SFP+ RackSwitch astutely focused on power efficiency.  Chris noted that, at full loading, the G8124 consumes “a mere 170 watts of electricity—less than the power required for two standard light bulbs.”  Great job, BLADE, for delivering one of the most integrated 10GbE data center top-of-rack switches in existence.  Read the blog…


    Fulcrum voted most innovative technology company

    At their 2009 European Press & Analyst Spotlight event in Barcelona, Spain, NetEvents awarded Fulcrum with the award for Most Innovative Technology Company.  The panel who chose Fulcrum was composed of senior press and analyst representatives from over 30 technology publications.  According to Guy Kindermans, who presented the award, “This company won because of its highly sophisticated combination of software and silicon implementation.
