High-Performance Computing (HPC)
The extremely low latency of the FM4000 family make it ideal for computer clustering applications such as High Performance Computing (HPC). Using FocalPoint, up to 288 compute blades can be interconnected in a three stage fabric. This allows scalable high-performance computing to be achieved with less than 600nS blade-to-blade latency.
Datacenter
The advanced features available in the FocalPoint switch family help datacenter designers cope with the problems of scalability, space, power and cost as they evolve to meet increasing demands for applications such as networking, storage and computation.
Storage
